5 Family-Friendly Festivals in the Midlands, 2019

AD – We have been invited as guests to Just So & Timber in exchange for coverage. All thoughts and opinions are honest and our own.

Here at “Typical Mummy” we love a family-friendly. A few days to just get lost in magic, fun and wonder; to spend quality time together as a family; and to relax, renew and refresh. There are plenty of family-orientated festivals all around the country which a family orientated, but as we’re based in the Midlands here are 5 of the best that are close to us.

Just So

We would describe Just So as the ultimate family-friendly festival! With restful, magical areas of woodland; dance workshops; wonderful music and theatre performances; and loads of different family friendly activities – the list is endless! It really is a fabulous experience and we HIGHLY recommend it! We are so lucky to have been invited to Just So, 2019 and you can check out our preview post here and last year’s review here. We can’t wait!

Nozstock is a music and arts festival in the Hidden Valley of rural Herefordshire. The organisers describe it as “a blissful family festival that caters to all ages with activities that little ones can enjoy as well as entertainment for teens, students, seasoned festivalites, party-starters and grandparents.” With artists from all genres of music and performance and a specific “Little Wonderland Kids” area where kids and parents can have lots of fun together, Nozstock looks like great fun for all the family to enjoy! Jemma from Thimble & Twig certainly enjoyed her first Nozstock experience last year. You can read her review here.

When & Where?

Nozstock takes place from the 18th-21st July at the Rowden Paddocks, Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7 4LS. For more information and to book tickets visit nozstock.com
